Ministries

Missouri City Baptist Church offers a variety of ministries designed to engage people of our ages and at all stages of spiritual development, in their relationships and service. Take a look at all the opportunities MCBC offers for you to connect in meaningful relationships and express your faith by serving others.

-Men’s Ministry: plans programs to meet the physical, spiritual, and social needs of men.

-Women’s Ministry: plans programs to meet the physical, spiritual, and social needs of women.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: MCBC offer classes to provide a clear picture of the Word of God in an effort to build God’s Kingdom. Our teachers provide interactive instruction to meet the needs of individuals from Pre-K to adults.

CHOIRS: a MCBC Choir ministers to the congregation through song. Choirs include: Praise Team Choir, Adult Choir, Mass Choir, Male Choir, Youth Choir and Children’s Choir.

THE FOCUS TEAM: concentrate on welcoming new members as a part of our Church family. The ministry helps new members find a place to serve as well as work with existing members to stay connected.

RAW: REAL ANNOINTED WARRIORS: the ministry uses the Word of God to create an atmosphere of support and unity to encourage spiritual growth and motivation necessary to mature and grow in the building of God's Kingdom. This ministry is striving to obtain a solid foundation in Christ by nourishing adult members. Fellowship activities include Friday Night Live events, social activities, quarterly praise and worship experiences, Bible Study, Sunday School, and community service projects.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: The Children's Ministry, offered programs that promote spiritual growth for children in Pre-K through 5th grade. Activities include: choir, Praise/Drill Team, an annual Mother/Child Banquet, outings, camp, sleepovers, and parties.

YOUTH MINISTRY: The Youth Ministry encourages youth in 6th-12th grade with spiritual and practical principles found in the Word of God for healthy and holistic living in a nurturing and positive environment of fellowship and praise. Youth activities include: Bible Study, Praise Dance/Drill Team, Scholarship Program, MLK Essay Contest, Annual Youth Day, group outings sleepovers, camps, and community service.

ACTORS GUILD: The MCBC Actors’ Guild shares the Word of God through messages to reach the hearts of men, women, and children. The guild is open to all ages. Adults, youth, and children can participate in productions throughout the year.

RECREATION MINISTRY: The recreation ministry engages individuals of all ages in physical activity to improve and maintain health. Men, women, and children can participate in variety of activities throughout the year. Youth, young adults, and men play basketball on Sunday evenings.

CRUSADERS FOR CHRIST: The ministry serves members 60 years old and older. It provides the opportunity to serve the Lord and utilize their spiritual gifts. They meet at 10:30 AM on Wednesdays for Bible study, food, and activities. In addition, Crusaders participate in an annual Senior's weekend, field trips, community service and pastoral support.

TOTAL PERSON MISSION (TPM): The TPM provides opportunities for males and females of all ages and stages in life to grow in faith, spiritually, physically, and emotionally through conferences, workshops, fellowship events and retreats. The Women's Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Wellness Team, Fellowship, Emergency Response Team, and PEACE (People Experiencing a Change through Education) Project are all a part of this ministry. All Members are invited to serve.
